WOW Wednesdays! Chakaia Booker

Hi lovelies,

It's been a while since my last WOW Wednesdays! post but today I am so itching to share with you the amazing talent that is Chakaia Booker. I learned about Booker's art from an article on Artlog.com about her current installment of sculptures that adorn Broadway. Can I say, "WHOLLY MOLY!" I think she must be an alchemist because she transforms rubber tires and stainless steel tubing into these magical works of art. I don't know how she does it. WOW Wednesdays! Embracing the Near Win

Hi Lovelies,

How is it going in your neck of the woods? The weather is warming up pretty nicely around these parts and I can only be happy about that. The last time I chatted with you all I was urging you to vote for my design over at By Hand London's Secret Garden Design Competition. Well, I have you know that I didn't win or even make it as a runner up. HOWEVER, I do consider it to be a near win. Though I didn't have enough votes to be considered a winner, I still feel like one. I received so much support and I was thrilled to know that people were rooting for me and my creation. That was the biggest gift I would say. Anyway, the loss or near win is refreshing and energizing. Probably a year ago, I may not have been so cheerful or resilient. Maybe I would have. Who knows? Anyway, I recently watched a TED Talk given by Sarah Lewis on the Near Win. She speaks of the mastery process from those facing near win moments in archery. I am sure this can apply to whatever your craft or field is. So, for this WOW Wednesdays segment, I bring you Sarah Lewis' TED Talk. WOW Wednesdays! Make life a dance party!

Hi Lovelies,

I think being alive, connecting with the world, and dreaming big are all great reasons to celebrate. For this edition of WOW Wednesdays, let's have a dance partay! I saw this video a couple of months ago and I still find the energy of the first man to be contagious. I'm sure if I were there, I would have joined in on the fun, too. What gets you in the dancing mood?

WOW Wednesdays! Stringtastic works by Janet Echelman

Hi Lovelies!

I'm bringing another installment of WOW Wednesdays with the fabulous, stringtastic creations of artist Janet Echelman. I thought my fractals were complex, but you haven't seen nothing yet. I'm in utter awe about the intricacy and magnitude of her installations.  Can we say that even Spiderman couldn't weave such awesomeness?

I'm on a mission. And that mission is to bring you more content about the beautiful design of life. To fulfill said mission I decided to initiate WOW Wednesdays! Catchy isn't it? As I have been browsing the web, I always stumble upon some awesomeness and why wouldn't I want to share with you. To kickoff the series, I bring you WOW world of Fabian Oefner.
