I am a person that constantly makes lists: grocery lists, to-do lists, clothing and electronics wishlists, and many more. But only once in a while do I create a list of my goals and intended outcomes. I may create such a list once or twice a year. I think I need to make a habit of writing my Goal List more often. Otherwise, I may lose track of what I desire and I could stop myself from being accountable. I could easily come up with excuses as to why I didn't submit to a CFE, why I didn't sign up for a workshop, or why I didn't finish a project. "Oh, I forgot I was supposed to do that." "I had so many other things to do that that one goal just never crossed my mind." And more Blah blah blah excuses and notions.
If I want to get out of my rut and cycle of bad situations, then I need to hold myself accountable. I need to keep a clear view of my goals and the life I want. This view needs to be with me at all times and not just once in a while when I open my journal. So, for now, I'm off to writing my Goal List.
