"Make Way for the New" End of the Year Studio Sale

Hi All,

I hope you are keeping afloat during the holiday season. As 2013 comes to a close, I am already thinking about projects for 2014. One such project is to clarify goals for my business and to build a solid brand. In gaining clarity, I must first provide space to welcome in the new.

That's why I am having a "Make Way for the New" End of the Year Studio Sale. I love my art, but it's not going to serve you if I still have it. This is your opportunity to get a head start on the new year and invite soul-enriching art into your sacred space or to share with a loved one. I am hosting the sale on my Facebook Page.  I almost forgot to mention, FREE SHIPPING is available! :-)

Take care lovelies!

365 Project: Day 105

Squash Heaven

As a child, I only knew of an orange pumpkin that was perfect for carving. It wasn't until adulthood that I was able to see the variety that existed. Some are smooth. Some are bumpy. Some are orange. Some are green. Some are short and some are tall.  Though they are all classified as pumpkin, they have stretched me out of my limited perception or definition of a pumpkin. It's a small example of how we as humans are and about how life is in general.  No definition or single idea of anything can truly encapsulate all that truly exists; for we are all unique, colorful, and special.

365 Project: Day 103

Burien Fog

Fall has brought about many foggy days in the Seattle area. This image was taken last night while heading home. I was struck by the air of mystery brought on by the fog and the way the streetlight shown through the branches. A night like this would be perfect for Halloween.

365 Project: Back in Action/Day 102

Hi All,

I am back with 365 Project. Yeah, I know. It's been a while. Blogging had taken a backseat because I was really focused on some projects that required more attention.  As I am winding down on completion of those projects, I finally feel relaxed enough to pause in the day. My mind is quiet enough for me to be present, to notice the beautiful autumn leaves and to feel the cool crisp air on my cheeks. This is the space where I am receptive and open to Spirit. This is where I am in tuned with nature and energy, inciting me to capture an image or to create. I'm following the rhythm right now and it's ready to be in this space again with you all.  As I move forward in the 365 Project, I will be doing things a little differently. Prior to this moment, I was pretty random in what I decided to post here. There really wasn't a connection to some of the images and that's not how I want to treat photography or, most importantly, my life.  I will be sharing more of what has piqued my interest, visions that have resonated with me, places and things that have spoken to the core of my Divine nature. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

To kick-off the resuming of the At the Art of It 365 Project, I wanted to share a sunset from one of the last days of summer. The colors scream autumn and warmth. I am in awe over the gleam of that sun.

365 Project: Painterly Photos

Hi Lovelies,

I have missed sharing photos with you, but I had to take a break. I hope you understand. Anyway, I am back with images of my latest works. I have been transforming some of my beloved photos into digital paintings or painterly photos as I like to call them. I was inspired by Kat Sloma and her Paint the Sky collection. With all of the different programs loaded on this hard drive, I decided to have playtime. It's been such a pleasure. Who knows? I may sell them as prints.
